 Fraxel re:pair is a an aggressive laser treatment that can dramatically improve damaged skin in a single treatment. It is always difficult when you treat a friend.  Although you give them the same thorough explanation of what they should expect, they sometimes listen as your buddy instead of as a client.  Recently I injected Botox and fillers to a person who I consider a great friend even though I haven’t known her very long.  I saw her a week later and she looked great.  I was just praying the results were what she wanted and expected.                                                   Before I could talk to her about it, her husband began raving about how beautiful she looked.  He went on and on about how I had given him this beautiful, young looking, wife.  Every friend I have treated has been thrilled with the results.  But I still get nervous every time.

by Erika: Last night Iatria Spa and Health Center teamed up with Dr Eric Asklund and hosted a band, Rewind (GREAT BAND). Iatria’s stellar massage team performed aromatherapy massage by the pool. Jeff, Jennifer, Dan, and Nina were the massage team extraordinaire. We ended up with some small tykes wanting to partake of the massage indulgence. We asked the moms and dads to hang out and explained that the next step was for them to buy a gift certificate because of course, the next generation of spa-goer would be hooked! Jin Williams with The Referral List www.thereferralist.com connected us with the Club and helped Roxanne with the Iatria limbo contest (what a HOOT!). Roxanne, looking remarkably like Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City with the red flower in her hair and matching shoes, hosted the event. When she spoke from the microphone, she had the full attention of all 200+ people at the pool. What a hostess!! Rox and Jin did the limbo contest, which only assured the need for massage and chiropractic care afterwards (way to go!). (-;

The massage team (pictures coming soon!) consisted of Jennifer Lantry (Wakefield and Cary locations and Iatria’s massage team leader), Jeff Taylor (Creedmoor Rd), Nina Cooper (Creedmoor Rd), and Dan Hatton (Creedmoor and Cary). These are consummate professionals of massage. They understand anatomy and physiology and go right to the source of challenges and pain. They created a relaxing environment for all and certainly aided the sign-up for the free massage gift certificates!! WHAT A CROWD! Look for these 4 at the spa.

Did I mention how HOT it was at the event? Only in the high 90’s — we were all swealtering. Of course, we were the only ones not in bathing suits, but that did not deter at least one of us from jumping into the pool fully clothed (we will not mention which one).

All in all, a very fun family event. Thanks to all who came out, and for the opportunity to be a part of Falls River Club pool! Come see us at the spa!
