In the Mirror at the Medspa. Dayna E. Rossi, FNP

When a client comes in to see me, I give them a mirror and ask them to tell me what is bothering them. I listen to their goals and then give my recommendations. After a plan is agreed upon, I go ahead and start the procedure. I always take pre-treatment photos and post-treatment photos that are then kept in the client’s chart. This photo documentation is helpful for the client and for myself. For the client, sometimes it is hard to remember how they looked prior to the treatment. I know this sounds a bit odd, but when you look at your self every day, you would be surprised how quickly you forget! Looking at the pictures helps me in continuing to learn about faces, how we age, and how best to achieve the client’s desired results. I really enjoy looking at the before and afters. Though I have been doing this for quite a while, I still get a sense of enjoyment and pride when I look at what I was able to achieve with the treatments. It truly is amazing how a client can go from looking tired and haggard to happy and well rested from just an hour treatment. And watching how my clients hold themselves differently after the treatments because they feel more confident. I do love my job!
